My
associates have over 100 years combined experience in the
communications, IT and media markets, working with ICT
organizations, broadcasters, content owners and learning
providers.
Working in a big corporates taught us process, financial
rigour and team working but we had always harboured strong
entrepreneurial instincts.
In 2004 I decided to launch 3rdeye where I work in close
partnership with a number of associates and their
businesses across the media, ICT and leaning sectors,
All are highly experienced and "activist" in their
approach with truly excellent track records.

Principal Consultant and Special Adviser
"Best
wishes
for the future - I've enjoyed working with you, and valued
your contribution to BT." (Sir
Christopher Bland, Chairman BTGroup). "I have worked with Andy in various roles over the last
five years. I have found him to be a very "solutions-oriented"
business partner, with a great ability to drive forward any
project he gets his teeth into. He is energetic,
determined, and imaginative in finding solutions to
difficult issues." (Stuart Prebble has
had a remarkable media career from his early days as an
investigative journalist and documentary maker. He was
Controller of Network Factual Programmes at ITV and Chief
Executive of Granada Sky Broadcasting, ONdigital and ITV.
Stuart is currently a Director of Liberty Bell, an award
winning indie production house.) I have worked with Andy for about ten years. Andy is
one of the most innovative, forward thinking people
that I have met, who has come up with some brilliant ideas
which have also been implemented. He has excellent
relationships in business at the highest levels and is
able to build teams to implement these ideas. I have always
enjoyed working with Andy and look forward to doing so in the
future. (Nigel Sands, Senior Manager, Long Term
Financial Planning, BBC). Andy is an outstanding sales and
business development operator with a dynamic outlook and a
clear eye for new opportunities. His ability to lead
and inspire makes him a good team leader and he also
combines strategic thinking with a strong
track record of revenue
delivery. (Gay Bell, Managing Partner, Platform PR) One of Andy's many strengths is his dependability. If he
says he will do something, he does it. He has a strong ability
to translate customer requirements into an implementation plan
and has the determination and
interpersonal skills needed to bring many parts of a big
organisation together in order to ensure a cohesive and
effective delivery to the customer. (Russell Inman, General
Manager, CrownCastle
International) "Andy is very experienced in the converging media and
communications worlds. His knowledge of the
space and creative ability has
created many opportunities and will continue to do so." (Danny
McLaughlin, Managing Director BTMajor Business). "Andy is a committed and tenacious
businessman. He was a believer in Digital Terrestrial from the
start - when many other experts faltered in their faith - and
he played an important role in
creating the original platform and in supporting the re-launch
of the free to air platform in its current guise." (John
Egan has had a long, varied and successful career in the
media business. In the early 90s he was a principle architect
of the Carlton TV bid to win the London ITV weekday franchise
and soon rose to the board. He has held a number of key
directorships in commercial television and was one of
the first people to see the possibilities in digital
terrestrial TV. John now runs sit-up, a company operating the
two most innovative home shopping channels in the UK,
'bid-up.tv' and 'price-drop.tv'. with his joint MD, Ashley
Faull.) "I've worked closely with Andy in his former role as
Head of Media Ventures at BT Group over 5 years. In all
the dealings I had with him he demonstrated an entrepreneurial
streak, a clear commercial awareness and an ability to cut
through any amount of red tape. His significant
knowledge of the whole media industry was an undoubted
benefit in devising new strategies and will, I'm sure, prove
of great use to the companies who he will work with in the
future." (Matt Seaman has an exceptional spread of
experience in the television marketplace having held senior
posts at BSkyB, ITV Digital, NTL, Dixons and Freeview. Matt
is currently Sales and Marketing Director at the DTT venture,
Top Up TV.) I
spent 15 years in corporate leadership
roles including two years running a sales training
consultancy. In the late 1980s I pushed through some big
call centre modernisation initiatives and then moved through
sales, marketing and sales consultancy
roles until my last and most exciting corporate job as Head
of Media Ventures for BTGroup.
